Selecting the correct size Acetylene Manifold

The nature of how Acetylene is stored in cylinders often requires that the manifold have more cylinder capacity than would be required for an Oxygen or Inert gas.

Each cylinder can continuously flow 1/10th of the cylinder content. The risk of not having an adequate number of acetylene cylinders is that acetone is drawn out of the cylinder and equipment damage can occur.
