Employee spotlight: Engineering Manager and Company Integrator, Travis Strebig.

Celebrating 100 years of innovation and excellence doesn’t happen without the right people in the right roles. This month we’d like to recognize our Engineering Manager and Company Integrator, Travis Strebig.

Travis started his career as a mechanical engineer in our engineering department 11 years ago, specializing in product/mechanical design. Shortly after, he moved into the lead engineering role and became the technical expert for the core business which allowed him to travel all over the world. Next, he was promoted to Engineering Manager with a focus on growing the department and mentoring the up and coming engineering technicians.

In the spirit of Rexarc’s commitment to continuous growth and development , Travis has most recently added the role of Company Integrator to his resume. As the company ACE, Travis leads and engages our team members while demonstrating our core values; Accountabillity, Communication and Excellence while enhancing the development, engagement and culture of our Rexarc Team.

When asked about some of the projects or initiatives of which he is most proud during his tenure, he passionately discusses the full development of the auto acetone system to help solve a giant industry pain. Additionally, he’s enjoyed the oversight and management of the weld shop move and capital investment project.

When asked about his perspective regarding the Rexarc difference, Travis shares that for our core business, our 100 years of being technical experts in the field and priding ourselves on custom solutions allows for our distinction. For our custom tank and vessel division, he believes our documented proven process helps us stand apart from other competitors.

When Travis isn’t in the office, he can be found outdoors or spending time with his wife and daughter. He’s an avid hunter and fisherman that also enjoys off-roading and shooting.

A century later, Rexarc is still committed to employee growth and excellence. When asked what excites him most about the future of Rexarc, Travis eagerly discusses the new building which will allow for increased production capabilities and customer reach and expansion.
