Rexarc Employee Spotlight

This month’s employee spotlight features our party planning and company “chef,” Zachary Diehl.

Zack is an Engineering Technician and joined the Rexarc team in 2011. When Zack isn’t creating culinary delights for company celebrations, his primary role is technical support and enhancing engineering drawings to increase efficiency for fabrication and assembly.

Zack’s Role at Rexarc

Starting as a production employee over 12 years ago, to several years spent in the purchasing department, Zack is another great example of Rexarc’s value of employee development. He’s been an integral part of the engineering department since 2018 and looks forward to expanding his skills, knowledge and opportunity.

What Makes You the Most Proud?

When asked about some of the initiatives about which he is most interested and excited, he recalls the heavy investment into the 5S initiative. Zack feels this has been extremely important for Rexarc in constantly improving their efficiency.

Zack credits his time at Rexarc for many parts of his personal and professional development. He has learned 2D and 3D computer design and honed his customer communication skills to help him excel at project management.

Other Interests

Outside of Rexarc, Zack is passionate about spending time with his two small children and fiancé. He also enjoys auto detailing, lawn care and playing the drums.

Looking Ahead

When it comes to the future, Zack is most excited about this next chapter of growth with the Rexarc team. He feels strongly that the employees working together now is the best team EVER! He’s excited about the constant growth of Rexarc employees, the direction and growth of our customized ASME vessels and the new building coming next year!
